Free open house event at RED Studios Hollywood on May 26, 2011
Santa Clara, CA – May 17, 2011 – ASSIMILATE (www.assimilateinc.com), the leading provider of powerful post-production tools for digital workflows, has joined forces with post-production and DI boutique Local Hero Post to demonstrate the world’s first RED Epic 5K HDRx workflow. The demonstration is a free-of-charge REDucation Open House event, taking place at RED Studios Hollywood on May 26. Local Hero Post is located in Santa Monica, California.
Harnessing a pre-release version of SCRATCH® Six, ASSIMILATE’s best-selling end-to-end digital cinema and broadcast imaging tool for post-production workflows, Local Hero Post founder Leandro Marini will discuss the benefits of shooting with RED Epic and posting with the SCRATCH DI tool suite.
The session will also cover efficient dailies and VFX dailies review, the advantages of HDRx shooting, optimised workflow for 3D stereo shoots with RED Epic, as well as understanding the differences between the finishing workflows of RED MX and RED Epic cameras.
